for #3 i recently started what i call “filtering” other people’s thoughts/emotions. it’s helped so much in not absorbing anything what isn’t mine. in the moment (or later in the day) i decide what information is necessary/useful and what is just unnecessary chatter. it helps me decide what to respond to instead of simply reacting to everything
